Three civilians killed in Russian strike on Kherson
Russian forces shelled the city of Kherson at around noon on Saturday, March 11, killing three people.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"On March 11, 2023, the troops of the aggressor state once again shelled the city of Kherson. Three civilians were killed after an enemy shell hit near a supermarket," the report said.
Currently, the number of casualties is being determined, and the shelling of the city continues, the prosecutor's office added.
Civilian infrastructure was also damaged. Prosecutors continue to take all measures to document war crimes committed by members of the Russian army.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched in criminal proceedings on violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
On March 10, Russian forces launched 13 attacks on the city of Kherson and 71 attacks on the Kherson region. Three people were killed and five wounded in the attacks.
