Russian troops shell Ochakiv, houses damaged
The Russian army launched artillery strikes on Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, in the early hours of Sunday, March 12, damaging private houses and an apartment building.
According to Ukrinform, Mykolaiv regional governor Vitaliy Kim said this in a Telegram post.
"Today, March 12, at 00:45-00:49, the enemy fired artillery at the town of Ochakiv, Ochakiv community. Cars caught fire, private houses and a high-rise building were damaged. The consequences of damage are being clarified. There are no casualties," the post said.
According to Kim, the day and night passed relatively calmly in the city of Mykolaiv and the Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka districts.
