Invaders shell three border districts in Kharkiv region

The Russian army shelled the border settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts in the Kharkiv region on March 11, damaging private residential buildings.

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram.

"The enemy is continuing to shell the settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts of the Kharkiv region, located not far from the contact line and the border with the Russian Federation," the post said.

According to Syniehubov, the areas of Chervona Zoria, Krasne, Ohirtseve, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne and Hryanykivka and other settlements were under mortar and artillery fire in the last day.

Enemy shelling damaged private residential buildings and outbuildings in the village of Zapadne. No civilian casualties were recorded throughout the day.

Syniehubov said that humanitarian demining efforts were ongoing in the region. Over the past day, the bomb disposal experts of the State Emergency Service surveyed almost 3,000 hectares of territory and neutralized 42 explosive items.
