War update: Ukraine’s Air Force launched seven strikes on enemy targets

Ukraine’s Air Force has launched seven strikes on enemy targets in the past 24 hours. In particular, Russia’s air defense missile system was hit.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck one Russian command post, one ammunition depot and two enemy personnel and military equipment clusters.

Russian troops continue focusing efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions.

The enemy causes terror against civilians, opening fire on civilian settlements in violation of international humanitarian law.

Over the past day, Russian invaders have struck a civil infrastructure object in the Donetsk region’s Sloviansk with missiles, as well as launched four air strikes and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems about 20 times.

The threat of Russian missile strikes is persisting all over Ukraine.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. No enemy offensive groupings were detected. Russian troops continue hardening positions within the border areas of the Bryansk region.

Over the past day, the Russian military have opened fire on the Sumy region’s Volfyne, and the Kharkiv region’s Strilecha, Krasne, Velykyi Burluk and Bolohivka.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Russian occupiers are making attempts to break through the defense of Ukrainian forces. Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards Dvorichna, Dibrova and the Serebrianske forestry.

The enemy launched artillery strikes on the Kharkiv region’s Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne and Cherneshchyna; the Luhansk region’s Makiivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka; and the Donetsk region’s Siversk and Spirne.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian invaders continue attempts to seize the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks near Minkivka and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.

In the Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions, Russian occupiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards the Donetsk region’s Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Sieverne, Nevelske, Marinka, Pobieda and Vuhledar.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops are holding defense. The enemy opened fire on the Zaporizhzhia region’s Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka; the Kherson region’s Beryslav and Bilozerka; and the Mykolaiv region’s Tamaryne and Ochakiv.

In the Kherson region’s temporarily occupied areas, Russian soldiers are committing looting. Later, they are trying to sell the stolen gadgets and household appliances but in other settlements.

According to the General Staff, Russian troops continue suffering losses. On March 11, 2023, about 30 corpses of Russian occupiers were transported to a local morgue in the Zaporizhzhia region’s Enerhodar.

The Russian military command is making efforts to replenish personnel losses. On March 10, 2023, reinforcements came to the Donetsk region’s Yalta from Russia’s Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. Enemy soldiers have low morale and express unwillingness to participate in hostilities.
