Russians shell Avdiivka three times, launch airstrike on coke chemical plant

Russian invaders shelled Donetsk region’s Avdiivka three times with artillery on Monday morning, as well as launched an airstrike on the territory of Avdiivka Coke Chemical Plant.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"In the morning, Russians shelled Avdiivka three times with artillery, including cluster munitions, and also launched an airstrike on the territory of Avdiivka Coke Chemical Plant," Kyrylenko wrote.

He noted that in the Donetsk direction, the Russian military shelled Kurakhove and launched airstrikes on Lastochkyno and Krasnohorivka of Ocheretyn community, no casualties were reported.

In addition, in the Horlivka direction, four people were injured and three multi-story buildings and an administrative building were damaged in Bakhmut. In Kostiantynivka, one person was injured, 12 private and 4 multi-story buildings were damaged.

In the morning, Nykyforivka of Soledar community came under shelling.  Explosions were heard on the outskirts of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk communities.

"In the Lysychansk direction, a house was destroyed in Zarichne of Lyman community, houses were damaged in Siversk and in settlements of the community," added the regional governor.

As reported, Russian invaders injured seven residents in Donetsk region on March 12.
