Major General Nikoliuk appointed commander of training at Ground Forces Command
Major General Viktor Nikoliuk has been appointed commander of training at the Command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, and Brigadier General Dmytro Krasylnykov has become commander of Ukraine's North Operational Command.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said this in a Telegram post.
In a post on Facebook, Nikoliuk said he had transferred the battle flag of the North Operational Command and the authority of the commander "to the reliable hands of Brigadier General Dmytro Krasylnykov" and assumed the duties of commander of training at the Command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
"I express my thanks to all the officers, sergeants, and soldiers with whom I defended the Chernihiv region and Bakhmut. We will continue to work for the sake of our common goal - together to Victory!" Nikoliuk added.
Nikoliuk was appointed commander of the North Operational Command in 2021.
