Two civilians injured in Russian shelling of Kharkiv region

In Kharkiv region, two civilians were injured in Russian shelling of Kupiansk district.

This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"On March 13, around 05:30, the occupiers fired artillery at the village of Hrianykivka, Kupiansk district. As a result of the shelling, a man and a woman, the village residents, received shrapnel wounds," the report says.  

Law enforcement officers began a pre-trial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In addition, according to the prosecutor's office, throughout the past day, the Russian military attacked the city of Kupiansk, damaging residential buildings.

As reported, hostilities continue in Kupiansk district, where 29 settlements remain under temporary occupation and three more are in the "grey" zone.
