Active front line in Ukraine reaches 1,500 km - Zelensky
The Russian war on Ukraine is one of the largest armed conflicts since World War 2 as the active front line reaches 1,500 km.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“The war in Ukraine is one of the largest armed conflicts since the Second World War. The active front line reaches 1,500 km. Battles take place in fields, forests, on water, in the sky and in cities. We continue fighting for our native land. The liberation of all occupied territories is ahead. And Ukraine will definitely do it,” Zelensky stated.
The statement was posted as a caption to a video as part of the United24 initiative, which shows and explains the destruction brought by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
As reported, on May 5, 2022, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine was launching the United24 global initiative. It is aimed at raising funds to help the nation rebuild in war conditions.
