Russian troops hit Kherson region 53 times in past day

Russian troops shelled Kherson region 53 times over the past day, firing a total of 269 shells from heavy artillery and Grad MLRS. Civilians were injured. 

“The Russians launched five strikes on Kherson city, 17 shells slammed into residential neighborhoods, private houses, and apartment blocks,” Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

As noted, two people were injured in enemy strikes.

Another 62 citizens were evacuated from the liberated areas of Kherson region over the past day.
