War update: Ukraine’s Air Force engages enemy clusters seven times in past day
The Ukrainian Air Force struck enemy positions seven times over the past day, hitting manpower and equipment clusters and an ammunition depot.
That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.
The Russian army launched a missile strike and seven air strikes, as well as nine barrages employing multiple launch rocket systems. The invaders cynically targeted a residential building in the Vasylivsky district and civil infrastructure objects in Kamianske, Zaporizhia region. The Russian army also shelled civilian infrastructure facilities in Donetsk region. Casualties were reported, as well as damage to apartment blocks, houses, and schools.
It is highly likely that the Russians will continue the strikes across the territory of Ukraine.
On the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna axes, the situation has undergone no significant changes. Throughout the day, the enemy has shelled the areas of Kliusy and Oleksandrivka, Chernihiv region; Kharkivka, Starykov, Volfine, and Stepok of Sumy region; Hlyboke, Krasne, Vovchansk, Kolodiazne, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna, Zapadne, and Kindrasivka of Kharkiv region.
On the Kupiansk and Lyman axes, the Russians pursue their efforts to penetrate Ukraine’s defense lines. The invaders launched unsuccessful offensive efforts in the area of Novoselivske. Their artillery shelled the areas of Vesele, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne, Pishchane, and Berestove, Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselivske, Nevske, and Bilohorivka of Luhansk region.
The enemy does not stop trying to capture the town of Bakhmut. Russian attacks were repelled in the areas of Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, and Hryhorivka. Vasiukivka, Bakhmut, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Kostyantynivka, Zalizne, and a number of other settlements in Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
On the Avdiivka, Maryinka, and Shakhtarske axes, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Kamianka, Avdiivka, Severna, Berdychi, and Maryinka settlements. Kamianka, Avdiivka, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, and Neskuchne of Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
The enemy is defending on the Zaporizhia and Kherson axes. The districts of Hulyaipole, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, and Kamianske of Zaporizhia region, as well as Kherson, Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Ivanivka, and Dniprovske came under shelling.
Russian occupiers continue to exert psychological pressure on the local population in order to force them to obtain Russian citizenship.
In the settlement of Azovske, the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhia region, the Russians toughened counter-intelligence measures. The locals are thoroughly ID’d. Those who hold no Russian passport are forced to put up with additional checks accompanied by detention.
Also, the Russian invaders are engaged in massive looting, expropriating real estate belonging to Ukrainian nationals. In Strilkove (temporarily occupied, Kherson region), the village council is drafting an order on the illegal alienation of homes owned by Ukrainians who were forced to flee the area. The vacated homes are set to be offered to the Russian forces.
According to the General Staff, Ukraine’s Air Force struck the Russian anti-aircraft missile complex (the type is to be specified), also delivering six strikes on manpower and equipment clusters and an ammunition depot.
Missile and artillery troops hit the Russian Tor anti-aircraft missile complex and two clusters.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russia’s death toll in Ukraine as of March 19 amounted to 164, 910, including 710 over the past day alone.
