Russians hit border areas of four districts of Kharkiv region

Over the past day, March 22, the Russian military shelled the border areas of Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, Izium, and Kharkiv districts of Kharkiv region.

"Over the past day, the enemy shelled the border areas of Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, Izium, and Kharkiv districts of the region," Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

In the village of Cherneshchyna, Izium district, a church was damaged and grass in the open area caught fire as a result of the enemy strike.

At least four houses were damaged in the shelling of Vilcha town and Vovchanski Khutory village in Chuhuiv district.

In the village of Vilkhuvatka, Kupyansk district, a house was destroyed and two others were damaged by mortar shelling.

Over the past day, no civilian casualties were reported. The explosives technicians of the State Emergency Service inspected more than 5.5 ha and defused 193 explosive objects.
