Zaluzhnyi, Radakin consider strengthening Ukraine’s air defense

In a phone call, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Chief of the Defence Staff of the British Armed Forces, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin considered strengthening Ukraine’s air defense.

The relevant statement was made by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I briefed my colleague on the operational situation all over the front line. The Bakhmut direction is the most challenging. Thanks to the titanic efforts of the Defense Forces, the situation is being stabilized,” Zaluzhnyi wrote.

The parties also discussed the strengthening of Ukraine’s air defense. They agreed to develop cooperation and maintain communication.

“I am grateful to Admiral Sir Tony Radakin for his support. Thanks to the aid from partners, we are holding on and will definitely achieve victory,” Zaluzhnyi concluded.
