Invaders hit six communities in Sumy region

On Saturday, March 25, Russian troops shelled six territorial communities in Sumy region.

"During the day, the Russians shelled the territory of six communities in Sumy region: Esman, Znob-Novhorodske, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Seredyna-Buda," the Sumy Regional Military Administration posted on Telegram.

The Russians shelled Znob-Novhorodske community with mortars – 10 hits were recorded.

The enemy launched a mortar attack on the Esman community – four hits.

In addition, the Russian invaders dropped seven mines on the territory of Krasnopillia community.

The Russians also opened fire from automatic grenade launchers (29 shots) and artillery fire from self-propelled guns (five hits) on Bilopillia community.

Nova Sloboda came under mortar fire – two hits.

Mortar shelling was also recorded on the outskirts of Seredyna-Buda town – two hits.

No casualties were reported.

As the military informed, the operational situation in the border areas of Sumy region is currently under control. The formation of hostile offensive groups near the state border was not detected.
