Ukraine's army aircraft are continuously inflicting significant losses on Russian invaders despite the powerful countermeasures of the enemy's air defense system.

According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander Oleksandr Syrskyi said this in a Telegram post.

According to him, in the first days of the large-scale invasion, the Russians expected to destroy Ukrainian army aircraft. However, even one year on, Ukrainian helicopters continue to strike enemies wherever needed.

"While supporting the units of the Eastern Defense Forces, our pilots demonstrate their courage and high skill during combat missions. Strikes from the sky are significant fire and psychological support to the units that heroically hold the front," Syrskyi said.

He also published a video of the combat operations of units of the 16th and 18th Army Aviation Brigades against Russian troops in the eastern sector.
