Russian commander’s car blown up in Mariupol

An explosion has rocked the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol this morning. Reportedly, one of Russian commander’s cars was blown up.

The relevant statement was made by Mariupol City Council on Telegram, referring to Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“At 08:07 a.m., an explosion occurred near the Bakhchyvandzhy market (Prymorskyi district, Budivelnykiv Avenue) in Mariupol. According to the preliminary data, a car of one of the occupiers’ commanders exploded,” the report states.

According to Boichenko, the enemy vehicle was blown up by the representatives of the Mariupol resistance movement. Boichenko promised to update on further details later.

A reminder that Russian invaders are transforming the city of Mariupol and neighboring villages into the Russian army’s military and logistics hub.
