British farmers bring 22 cars for Ukrainian defenders
British farmers have delivered 22 pickup trucks to the Lviv region, where the vehicles were handed over to soldiers of the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo.
Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"This is the second batch of cars that our defenders received from British and Scottish farmers as part of the 'Pickups for Peace' campaign. They are planning to provide the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo with a hundred vehicles," Kozytskyi said.
According to him, in addition to cars, the British brought generators and humanitarian aid for IDPs and residents of the frontline areas.
Earlier reports said that Poland had handed over another batch of cars, power generators and drones, worth more than EUR 3 million, for Ukraine's defenders.
