Russia's shelling of TPP in Donetsk region disrupts power supply to Pokrovsk district

Russia's shelling of the Kurakhove thermal power plant has disrupted power supply to the Pokrovsk district.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The Russian occupying troops' shelling of the Kurakhove TPP disrupted the electricity supply through three 110 kV power grids that supply power to the Pokrovsk district," Kyrylenko wrote.

According to him, there was also a ten-minute interruption in the power supply of the Kramatorsk power grid. At the moment, the electricity supply has been restored.

Consumers in the Pokrovsk district are currently being reconnected to alternative power supply networks.
