Enemy shelling damages equipment of thermal power plant
A thermal power plant of DTEK Energy stopped operation after enemy shelling damaged plant’s equipment.
DTEK’s press service reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Today, as a result of intensive shelling, one of the thermal power plants of DTEK Energy was once again damaged. According to preliminary information, there were no victims. The attack damaged plant’s equipment and the TPP stopped producing electricity," the report says.
It is noted that after the shelling ends, power engineers will be able to start eliminating the aftermath of the attack and restoring the operation of the equipment.
