Enemy shells border areas of four districts of Kharkiv region, elderly woman injured

In Kharkiv region yesterday, April 2, the Russian army continued shelling the border settlements of Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Izium, and Chuhuiv districts. An elderly woman was injured.

“Kupyansk, Veterynarne, Hatyshche, Velykyi Burluk, Dvorichna, Krokhmalne, and other settlements came under fire. Civilian industry facilities were damaged in the shelling of Kupyansk. A 65-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalized in a moderate condition,” Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

In the village of Vovchanski Khutory, Chuhuiv district, a grocery store was damaged as a result of Russian shelling.

The invaders also hit the village of Bohuslavka, Izium district, with multiple launch rocket systems, damaging a house.

Mine clearance operations are ongoing in the region. Over the past day, explosives technicians examined almost 2 ha of territory and defused 47 explosive objects, Syniehubov added.
