Commander of Ukraine’s Ground Forces Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi met with the Ukrainian defenders who are leading the defense effort on the Bakhmut axis, stating that the Russian army is becoming weaker.

He announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The Bakhmut axis. I constantly work with units performing tasks at the hottest points of the front line. I met with soldiers and commanders who destroyed the myth of the invincibility of the Wagner Group and Russian paratroopers," Syrskyi noted.

As the commander noted, the enemy is becoming weaker and trying to cover up its failures with yet another fake story about the ‘capture’ of the town of Bakhmut.

The truth, according to Sirskyi, is that the successful efforts by the Armed Forces refute all spins circulated by Russian propagandists.

"The forward movement of our entire Army depends on what every soldier is doing right now on their part of the front, in their trenches," commander emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to Ukraine’s Defense Ministry, the situation in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, remains tense as the  Ukrainian Forces are repelling the advance of the Russian army in difficult conditions.
