Two Russian fighter jets attack village in Chernihiv region

The Russian army has launched an air strike on the village of Pecheniuhy in the Chernihiv region.

That's according to the press service of Ukraine's North Operational Command, Ukrinform reports.

"At around 17:31, a message was received from the dispatcher of the State Emergency Service that a private house and outbuildings caught fire in the village of Pecheniuhy. It emerged that the fire broke out due to an air strike carried out by two Russian Su-35s," the report reads.

According to preliminary data, the Russian jets dropped two bombs on the village. There has been no information on casualties so far.
