Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 176,240
The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 176,240 Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to April 5, 2023, including 550 invaders over the past day alone.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
The enemy’s total combat losses include also 3,629 tanks (+2), 7,005 armored combat vehicles (+6), 2,707 artillery systems (+10), 532 multiple launch rocket systems (+4), 280 air defense systems, 306 aircraft, 291 helicopters, 5,573 motor vehicles (+11), 18 warships/cutters, 2,283 unmanned aerial vehicles, 299 special equipment units (+1). A total of 911 enemy cruise missiles were shot down.
Enemy losses are being verified, the General Staff noted.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 60 Russian attacks in four areas over the past day.
