Russian army attacks Beryslav with drones, police officer wounded

In the Kherson region, Russian troops attacked the town of Beryslav with drones, a police officer was injured. Also, two people were injured in the village of Antonivka.

That’s according to the press service of the Kherson Regional Police, Ukrinform reports.

"Russian army has once more attacked the Kherson region with multiple launch rocket systems, artillery, mortars, UAVs and aircraft. The communities of Beryslav and Kherson districts came under massive enemy attack. Russians targeted civilian objects, launched an air strike with guided aerial bombs on the territory of Odradokamianka village and an enterprise in the village of Kozatske," the statement said.

As noted, the Russian army attacked the town of Beryslav from drones, dropping grenade on residential areas. As a result of an explosion, a police officer was wounded, and the police car was damaged.

Russian troops were shelling the regional center around the clock in an attempt to destroy infrastructure. According to the police, Russian shells damaged private and multi-storey buildings, cars, and the roadway in the city.

In Antonivka, the shelling damaged a school, at least 16 private houses, cars and gas pipes, and wounded two residents.

Police teams and emergency services were working in the fields of hits. Over the past day, the police responded to 296 statements and reports from citizens about criminal offenses and other incidents. A total of 28 criminal proceedings have been opened over war crimes committed by the Russian military.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russian army fired 50 times at the Kherson region over the past day, April 4.
