Russian invaders attack four districts in Kharkiv region, civilian injured
On April 5, 2023, Russian troops were shelling the border areas of the Kharkiv region’s Kupiansk, Kharkiv, Izium and Chuhuiv districts. One civilian was reported injured.
The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In particular, Russian attacks affected civilians and civil infrastructure across such settlements as Kupiansk, Kucherivka, Dvorichna, Udy, Veterynarne, Lyptsi, Kozacha Lopan, etc.
In Kupiansk, enemy projectiles hit a private household, having caused a fire.
A man, 65, was injured in Russia’s shelling of the Kupiansk district’s Kucherivka. He was taken to hospital.
In the Kupiansk district’s Dovhenke, two detached houses were damaged.
In the Izium district’s Bohuslavka, Russians opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), having caused damage to at least four detached houses.
Demining efforts are underway in the Kharkiv region. Over the past day, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service has inspected over seven hectares and neutralized 190 explosive items.
