Israel attacks weapons production plant in Gaza Strip

The Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) announced that they struck two weapons production enterprises of the Palestinian militant Islamist group HAMAS.

The relevant statement was made by the IDF, Ukrinform reports.

The IDF said that the enterprises were located in the North and Central parts of the Gaza Strip.

In addition, IDF’s fighters hit "terrorist tunnels" near the cities of Beit Hanoun and Khan Yunis.

The Israeli military said also that these tunnels did not pass through a territory of Israel and did not pose a threat to civilians.

According to the Israeli ministry, the country has struck in response to security violations by HAMAS over the past few days.
