Russian military mining area near Enerhodar

Residents of the temporarily occupied town of Enerhodar in the Zaporizhzhia region should be careful, because the invaders are mining the territory.

Mayor Dmytro Orlov reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"We ask residents of Enerhodar, who remain in the occupied city, to be as careful as possible. The rashist troops brag on the news sites they have created that they are mining everything around them," Orlov said.

According to him, the enemy is mining not only the fields on the Zaporizhzhia axis, but also the area near Enerhodar. In addition, it is dangerous to stay in the coastal areas of the Kakhovka Reservoir, in forest strips, etc.

"In the spring, with the beginning of the so-called 'dacha season,' a new danger arises before the owners of country houses and plots. This applies not only to the risk of stepping on a mine in one's own garden or on the way to it, but also to the high probability of hitting an unexploded projectile during tillage ", the mayor said.

He recalled that the invaders are systematically shelling populated areas of the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. "They do this from neighboring villages, from the coastline, industrial sites of city enterprises, and even from the outskirts of residential neighborhoods of Enerhodar... Nine years of war (and the last year too) show that the main goal of the aggressor country is to destroy as many Ukrainians as possible, using whatever methods," Orlov said.
