Russian invaders abduct four ZNPP employees
In the temporarily occupied city of Enerhodar, Russian invaders have abducted four employees of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).
The relevant statement was made by Energoatom National Nuclear Energy Generating Company on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“In the evening of April 6, 2023, the masked occupiers broke into the premises of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP and took away four workers of the plant’s physical protection service. The power engineers were taken in an unknown direction, and now their location is remaining unknown,” the report states.
It is worth noting that all four were considered loyal to Russian occupation authorities, as they signed a contract with the enemy’s fake company, Zaporozhye NPP Operating Organization JSC. Mark Volkov, the deputy ‘head’ of the physical protection service, who showed support for the unlawful actions of Russian invaders, was among those detained.
A reminder that Russian troops seized Zaporizhzhia NPP in March 2022. The occupiers are forcing the employees to sign contracts with Russia’s Rosatom. The plant itself is used by Russian invaders as a military base, where military machinery and personnel are deployed.
