Information leakage prevention, situation on front: Zelensky holds Supreme CinC Staff meeting

On Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, regarding the situation on the battlefield, the formation of new brigades, and the prevention of information leakage.

The relevant statement was made by the Office of the President of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In the course of the meeting, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi briefed the participants on the operational situation within the main directions of the front.

The commanders of operational-strategic groups of troops reported on the course of hostilities in the areas of the front within their areas of responsibility.

Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Kyrylo Budanov spoke about the likely actions of the enemy in the near future.

Additionally, the members of the Staff reviewed in detail the formation and arming of new brigades. The level of personnel training was also considered.

Separately, the participants focused on measures to prevent the leakage of information regarding the plans of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

The meeting was also attended by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Secretary Oleksiy Danilov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, government officials, heads of law enforcement and security agencies.
