Russians hit Kherson region 71 times in past day. Eight civilians injured

The army of the Russian Federation launched 71 strikes on Kherson region over the past day, April 7.

"The enemy launched 71 strikes, firing 397 shells. Seventeen shells slammed into the city of Kherson. The enemy targeted the residential neighborhoods of the populated settlements of the region; the territory and premises of a kindergarten in Bilozerka village community and the premises of a retail trade facility in Beryslav," Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

Eight people, including two children, were injured.

As noted, 74 more people were evacuated from the areas of Kherson region liberated from the Russians.

As reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian invaders intensified preparations for the evacuation of the population from the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions to Crimea.
