Man injured in Russian shelling of Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region

On the morning of April 8, Russian troops shelled Huliaipole and Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region, wounding a man.

Yuriy Malashko, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Malashko wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

 "It was loud in the morning near the demarcation line. The enemy is again terrorizing the civilian sector in Orikhiv and Huliaipole," the report says.  

A 57-year-old local resident was injured in Orikhiv. He was taken to the medical facility, Malashko said.

Russian troops also shelled Polohy district with multiple launch rocket systems, artillery and use aviation.

As reported by Ukrinform, the enemy shelled more than 40 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson areas, including Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novopavlivka in Zaporizhzhia region; Kachkarivka, Zmiivka, Inzhenerne and Zelenivka in Kherson region, as well as the city of Kherson.
