Russians launch airstrike on Avdiivka coke plant
The Russian army shelled Avdiivka, Donetsk region, and launched an airstrike on the local coke chemical plant last night.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"In the Donetsk direction, the day before, Kurakhove came under two artillery attacks and the Ukrainian Selydove community was struck with Grad MLRS. At night, the Russians carried out chaotic shelling of Avdiivka and launched an airstrike on AKHZ [Avdiivka Coke Chemical Plant],” Kyrylenko wrote.
In the Horlivka direction, the Russians attacked Kostiantynivka with artillery and S-300 missiles, damaging four private houses, company premises and a gas pipeline. In the community, Predtechyne and Novomarkove also came under attack. One house was damaged in the Toretsk community. In addition, two high-rise buildings and kindergartens were damaged in Bakhmut.
In the Lysychansk direction, one person was killed in Torske, the Lyman community. In the Zvanivka community, Zvanivka, Pereizne and Verkhniokamianske came under enemy fire, there were no casualties.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army killed four residents in Donetsk region on April 7.
