Invaders shell Kherson region, firing off 495 rounds

The Russian military over the past day 71 times struck Kherson region.

That’s according to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, who broke the news on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to the official, over the past day, the Russians carried out 71 strikes, firing off 495 rounds.

"Twenty-three projectiles hit the city of Kherson. The enemy targeted the residential quarters of populated areas across the region, power line, shipyard, and grain terminal," Prokudin said.

He emphasized that there were no casualties among the civilian population over the past day.

As the head of the administration added, another 61 people evacuated the areas of Kherson region liberated from the Russians.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces earlier said the Russian military was strengthening counter-intelligence and policing measures regime in the temporarily captured territory of Kherson region.
