Russians strike Zaporizhzhia with S-300 missiles last night
Russian forces fired two S-300 missiles at Zaporizhzhia on the night of April 8. Two civilians were killed, more than 30 private houses were damaged, while one was completely destroyed.
An Ukrinform correspondent reported from the scene that the missile attack took place around 01:40.
According to law enforcers, the enemy fired S-300 missiles at the private residential sector. One missile hit a residential building, the other fell on the territory of a private yard.
The Zaporizhzhia mayor’s office said that 33 houses were damaged, while one was completely destroyed, according to preliminary information.
Utility services are working at the scene.
As reported, employees of the State Emergency Service rescued a 46-year-old woman from under the rubble in Zaporizhzhia. Ambulance workers provided necessary assistance to her. A 50-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter were killed in the enemy attack.
