Russia's military death toll in Ukraine climbs to 179,320
Ukraine's defense forces eliminated about 179,320 Russian soldiers between February 24, 2022, and April 11, 2023, including 500 in the past day alone.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook.
Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 3,644 Russian main battle tanks (including seven tanks in the past day), 7,038 armored combat vehicles (+10), 2,765 artillery systems (+15), and 535 multiple launch rocket systems (+1). The enemy also lost 282 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 307 warplanes, 293 helicopters, 2,332 tactical unmanned aerial vehicles (+9), 911 cruise missiles, 18 warships/boats, 5,620 vehicles and fuel trucks (+13), and 316 pieces of specialized equipment (+5).
