Russians launch mortar strikes on two border villages in Sumy region
On April 11, 2023, Russian troops launched mortar strikes on two border villages in the Sumy region.
The relevant statement was made by the North Operational Command on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In particular, between 11:20 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., three explosions were recorded near the village of Khodyne. According to the preliminary data, Russians opened fire with the 120mm mortar systems.
Between 11:10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., seven explosions were recorded near the village of Buniakine. Enemy projectiles were fired with the same type of weapons.
According to the North Operational Command, no casualties among civilians or damage caused to civil infrastructure were reported.
A reminder that, on April 10, 2023, five communities came under enemy fire in the Sumy region.
