Sumy region comes under enemy fire seven times

On April 12, 2023, Russian troops opened fire on the Sumy region’s border areas seven times. A total of 75 explosions were recorded.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The following communities came under enemy fire: Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Seredyno-Buda, Myropillia and Esman. Russian invaders struck the border areas with mortars, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

In the Esman community, two explosions were recorded. Russian artillery shells caused damage to a filling station.

In the Myropillia community, a total of 10 explosions were recorded. Two detached houses were damaged.

According to Sumy Regional Military Administration, no enemy offensive groups were detected near Ukraine’s state border.

A reminder that, on April 11, 2023, nine communities came under enemy fire in the Sumy region.
