Zelensky grants state awards to 284 defenders, 186 of them posthumously
President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has awarded state decorations to 284 servicemen, 186 of whom were posthumously honored.
The relevant decrees have been published on the website of the Ukrainian president, as reported by Ukrinform.
According to Decree No. 217/2023, 99 defenders received state decorations, with 50 of them awarded posthumously. Decree No. 218/2023 provides for the honoring of 152 servicemen, 136 of them posthumously.
Additionally, a total of 98 servicemen were awarded state decorations, 53 under Decree No. 219/2023 and 45 under Decree No. 220/2023.
