Police: Russian invaders destroy 30 churches in Donetsk region
Since Russia's full-scale incursion into Ukraine, 30 churches have been completely destroyed by the invasion force in Donetsk region.
This was stated on April 13 by the head of the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk region, Ruslan Osipenko, who spoke at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"There are 247 religious buildings in Donetsk region, 130 of them are functioning. And 117 are shut down (damaged - ed.), of which 30 were destroyed by the invasion troops. They have been bombed," Osypenko said.
As reported, Donetsk region is constantly shelled by the Russian invasion forces. Every day, enemy strikes kill and maim civilians, also destroying civilian infrastructure.
