Romania's defense industry produces "some good stuff" Ukraine needs - defense chief
Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov held meetings in Bucharest on Thursday with representatives of Romania's defense industry, which he says produces some "good stuff" that Ukraine might need to further improve its defense capabilities.
Reznikov announced this on the sidelines of the First Black Sea Security Conference in Bucharest, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I had a meeting - and will have more of them - with representatives of Romania’s military-industrial complex. Their industry manufactures some good stuff that we need to increase the defense capabilities of our forces," minister said.
At the same time, the defense chief noted that he could not disclose all details in order to "leave us room for maneuver."
The minister also said that during the meeting with his Romanian counterpart, the latter assured him that all political forces in Romania supported Ukraine and wished it Victory.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the second (official) day of the First Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimea Platform, which gathered representatives of more than 50 countries and organizations in Bucharest, was held in the capital of Romania on Thursday.
