Bodies of 82 fallen defenders returned to Ukraine
Today, April 14, the bodies of 82 fallen Ukrainian service members were returned to the homeland.
“The transportation of bodies from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine took place with the assistance of the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons under the Ministry of Reintegration in cooperation with law enforcement agencies,” the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine posted on Telegram.
The Ministry of Reintegration notes that the transfer of the bodies of the fallen defenders is carried out in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Convention.
As reported, on March 24, the bodies of 83 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine.
