Five people remain under rubble of house in Slovyansk
In Slovyansk, five people remain under the rubble of a residential building hit by a Russian missile.
"Five people remain under the rubble of a house in Parkovyi Lane. Their identities have been established. In addition, we do not have information about the residents of three more apartments," Vadym Liakh, Head of the Slovyansk Town Military Administration posted on Facebook.
As of the morning of Saturday, April 15, 21 people were injured and nine people were killed in yesterday’s Russian missile attack on Slovyansk. During the night, the death toll rose as rescuers pulled a dead woman from under the rubble.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing. A special detachment of climbers of the State Emergency Service has been involved.
As reported, on the afternoon of April 14, the Russians fired at least seven missiles (according to preliminary information, S-300) at Slovyansk. Six of them hit a residential sector, another hit the territory of a landscape park.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs data, 34 apartment blocks, 20 private houses, civil infrastructure objects, and 12 cars were damaged.
