Two teenagers killed in Russia’s shelling of Mykolaiv region

On April 16, 2023, Russian troops opened fire on the Mykolaiv region’s Snihurivka community. Two teenagers were reported killed.

The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Vitalii Kim on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The Snihurivka community came under enemy fire at 02:20 a.m., April 16, 2023. According to the preliminary data, Russians used the S-300 missile systems. In one of settlements, two teenagers, born in 2005, were reported killed. Enemy projectiles caused damage to residential houses, an educational institution and a private enterprise.

In Snihurivka, two educational institutions, residential houses, a hospital and a cultural hall were damaged. No casualties were reported, according to the preliminary data.

A reminder that, on April 14, 2023, Russian troops attacked the Mykolaiv region’s city of Ochakiv and the Ochakiv community’s coast with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) five times.
