Situation in Kupyansk–Lyman direction: Air raids, hundreds of strikes

The defenders of Ukraine destroyed three enemy tanks, an armored personnel carrier and shot down a Su-25 attack aircraft in Kupyansk–Lyman direction over the past day.

"In this direction, the enemy uses more armored vehicles so our service members destroy them... Over the past day, three T-72 tanks, BTR-80 APC [were destroyed], and our paratroopers shot down a Su-25 attack aircraft," Serhiy Cherevaty, Spokesperson for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said during the national news telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He added that the invaders also lost an infantry fighting vehicle and a combat support vehicle.

As noted, the Russian forces launched 375 strikes from weapons of various calibers, there were five combat clashes and ten air raids over the past day. Cherevaty said that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 27 invaders and wounded 60 more.

As reported, the Ukrainian border guards destroyed a Russian Shahed-136 drone in Kharkiv region.
