Russians attack Kherson region 46 times, 170 projectiles fired

On April 16, 2023, Russian troops attacked the Kherson region 46 times, having fired 170 projectiles.

The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian troops used heavy artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and aircraft.

The city of Kherson came under enemy fire three times.

According to Prokudin, Russian projectiles hit residential areas across the Kherson region’s settlements. No casualties among civilians were reported.

A reminder that, on April 16, 2023, Russian troops opened fire on Kherson and Beryslav. On April 15, 2023, a woman, 48, and her daughter, 28, were killed in Russia’s shelling of Kherson.
