Zelensky visits wounded soldiers in Donetsk region
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as part of his working trip to the Donetsk region visited a hospital where Ukrainian defenders are undergoing treatment and presented them with state awards.
That's according to the website of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.
Zelensky got acquainted with the work of an advanced surgical unit, including its triage department, shock ward, operating room and intensive care.
The president was shown a Scania evacuation bus capable of transporting 5 lying patients and 16 sitting patients at the same time. The bus, equipped with modern medical equipment, has already made more than 90 trips.

Zelensky spoke to the servicemen and presented them with state awards. For their personal courage and selfless actions in the defense of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the defenders received medals "For Military Service to Ukraine."
"Thank you for your service. I wish you a speedy recovery. All the best to you," Zelensky said.
He also spoke with the medical staff of the hospital and presented representatives of the medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Order of Danylo Halytskyi for saving the lives of Ukrainian defenders.
"I want to thank you and wish you, as part of the team that is struggling for Ukraine's victory, the health that you give to our boys and girls," Zelensky said.
On April 18, Zelensky also visited the front-line positions of Ukrainian defenders in Avdiivka.
