Arms cache found 3km from front line in Luhansk region

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has discovered an arms cache in the Svatove district, Luhansk region.

The intelligence agency said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"The Security Service found another enemy arms cache during counter-subversive measures in the front-line areas of the Luhansk region," the post said.

The ammunition was found in a village in the Svatove district, located three kilometers from the line of contact.

According to operational data, the hideout was set up by Russian forces before they escaped a Ukrainian counteroffensive.

The arms cache was placed in a dilapidated building of an abandoned household.

SBU employees seized an RPG-22 anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade, an RGSh-1 rocket-propelled assault grenade, a Kalashnikov submachine gun, four Kalashnikov assault rifles, 32 F-1 grenades, 20 RGO grenades, and four boxes of more than 4,000 rounds of various calibers.
