Russia shells Kherson region 79 times in 24 hours, one civilian killed
Over the past day, April 18, the Russian army fired 79 times at the Kherson region, launching 350 shells from heavy artillery and UAVs.
The head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, Russian troops shelled Kherson five times.
"Russian troops hit residential areas of the region's settlements; they also hit the territory of the market and the building of an educational institution in Kherson," noted Prokudin.
One person was killed and ten were wounded as a result of the hostile shelling, he emphasized.
According to Prokudin, 52 more people were evacuated from the territory of the region liberated from the Russians.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, two settlements in the Kherson region were cut off from electricity as a result of shelling.
