Enemy shells Kherson city, injuring civilians
The enemy continues to shell Kherson region, the intensity of the shelling has increased in recent days. Two civilians have been injured today.
"There is still a very difficult security situation... As of now, shelling continues, including of Kherson city. The last strike ended literally 15 minutes ago. As of now, two people have sought medical attention – they were injured in the shelling," First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council Yuriy Sobolevskyi told a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
Also, on April 19, another person sought medical treatment because of the injuries received the day before.
According to Sobolevskyi, the intensity of shelling has increased in recent days. The enemy continues to systematically use powerful aerial bombs.
As reported, the Russian army struck Kherson region 79 times over the past day, April 18, firing 350 shells from heavy artillery and UAVs. One person was killed and ten more were injured.
