Russians hunting civilians with drones in south - Gumenyuk

In the south, the enemy continues to shell and terrorize civilians, in particular by dropping explosive grenades from drones.

This was reported by Natalia Gumenyuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, during the United News telethon, Ukrinform reports citing Armyinform.

According to her, on the Left Bank, Russian invaders are taking up firing positions and firing in the directions from which the Ukrainian Defense Forces are trying to push them back.

"At the same time, the enemy continues to use both aviation to carry out attacks with guided aerial bombs and unmanned aerial vehicles designed to reconnoiter the area and at the same time strike at crowds of people, cars and even at individual citizens moving around the territory," said Gumenyuk.

She also emphasized that three civilians in the Kherson region were injured as a result of the enemy's dropping explosive grenades from drones over the past day.

"The enemy cannot achieve any success due to our effective counter-battery work. Therefore, he uses UAVs to terrorize our civilians. In particular, this means that the Russians are trying to attack even the groups involved in de-mining and clearing agricultural land from shells. Because of this, the situation related to demining remains very difficult in the South," emphasized the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces.
