Russians fire 44 rounds on border area in Sumy region

On Thursday, April 20, Russian troops struck the Velyka Pysarivka and Bilopillia communities in the Sumy region, firing 44 shells from various types of weapons.

According to Ukrinform, the Sumy regional military administration reported this in a post on Telegram.

The invaders fired 25 mortar rounds and 9 artillery rounds at the Bilopillia community.

The Velyka Pysarivka community came under AGS grenade launcher fire, with ten hits recorded there.

No casualties or destruction were recorded in all cases, the post said.

"According to reports from the military, the formation of hostile offensive groups near the state border has not been recorded at the moment," the administration added.

Ukrinform reported earlier that on April 19, the Russians shelled five territorial communities in the Sumy region.
